Eyes of the Week…earth tone colors

I went to a good friend babyshower this weekend and thought about wearing some of the old natural eyeshadow shades I had in my makeup case. I wanted to go for a very natural and soft look, but still wanted the eyeshadow to be noticeable.

All colors I am wearing on this pic are from MAC.

-Eyebrows: Spiked pencil (and I added some Corduroy eyeshadow just to have a smoother line)

- Eyelid: the base is the Cream color base in Tint (do not apply too much, you can also use some concealer for your eye color base)

- Eyelid: lower part: Bamboo eyeshadow

- Crease: Foli eyeshadow

-Crease (outside corner): Embark eyeshadow

- Hightlighter (under eyebrow): Concealer select moisture cover NW 40. You will just need to use a very small amount with an angled brush. Be sure to blend it as much as possible as you do not want it to be too obvious. If you are a beginner in makeup, I suggest you use the eyeshadow Arena (if you have a complexion closed to mine) or Shroom if you are as light as Halle Berry ;o)

- Eyeliner: Blacktrack fluidline with Violet Underground (if you cannot find it use any khol purple color) pencil on the bottom

-Mascara: LANCOME Fatale of course!!!

For my lips, I had a very nude lip (sorry I cropped the picture!). I used Cork lip liner with Bare Thruth lipgloss ( I use lipstick on very rare occasions…)

No Makeup Makeup???

Please watch this short tutorial. The makeup artist gives very good tips (except for using brown instead of black mascara…which I totally disagree with unless you are a natural blonde with blue eyes). You can do this look quick in the morning before heading out of the house!!!
