Makeup, stilettos, martinis and chocolates…

This was the theme to one of the best birthday parties I have ever been to. I had the chance to be a part of this amazing night Saturday, celebrating Miss Sabria birthday at Cafe Asia (best place to dance the night away in DC…check out their parties at www.thedebonairtouch.com). It was a special night for girls where we were able to enjoy makeup presentations by the talented Miss Kia (http://www.slvrlipsbmhaven.blogspot.com/) and I. We were also able to learn a lot about how to make sure you have the right bra size thanks to Melissa Tappin, Victoria’s Secret Consultant. 

My presentation was focused on eyebrows and lashes. I explained step by step how you can get a perfectly arched eyebrow and the “does and don’t” of wearing fake eye lashes. I am posting a few pictures from the event…will post more pics once they come out.

2008 BRIT AWARDS KELLY, RIHANNA and…

It’s sad that nobody talks about Kelly Rowland since the end of Destiny’s Child (actually she was not even talked about before that…) but her red carpet pic at the BRIT awards really caught my eyes! Her makeup looks very fresh (although I think there’s too much blush…). She is wearing sexy nude lips (for color choice check my post on nude lips) with a soft smokey eyes and some cute lashes!

My girl Rih Rih is as usual on point…to all you Rih Rih haters (you know who you are…lol) she just looks F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S like “New York” liked saying it on her show (talking about her I need to write a post on her makeup coz girlfriend is overdoing it…)! Anyhow, I am loving the way she has her black eyeliner under the eye. It looks very good with a soft pink eye makeup (the same look will look good with a purple/lavender eyeshadow). So just for the pleasure of your eyes as I do every week, here is another perfectly beautiful beauty shot of my BFF…(I promess to stop acting like a teenager with this Rihanna adoration…I will not post pics of her for a week…)

 Can somebody please tell Amy Winehouse that her Nefertiti-Egyptian look eyeliner does not look that good on her…lol! I love her music though…
